The Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center will host two hiring fairs for client and partner school districts at the Mid-Ohio Conference Center, located at 890 West Fourth Street, Mansfield, Ohio. The first event on January 4th will be focused on hiring licensed K-12 educators. These events will be open to all current college students and recent graduates and provide an opportunity for candidates to network with local employers. Employers should be prepared to interview for open positions and hire candidates during the events.

The schedule will be the same both days and are as follows:

8:45 – 9:00 a.m.            Candidate Check-in

Dr. Mark Burke, Mid-Ohio ESC’s Executive Director of Achievement and Leadership, said this event is meant to draw new educators and support staff to the area where the need has been great. “We want to help districts find the staff they need. Our hiring event will centralize the search and bring in those qualified candidates who are excited about working right here in Mid-Ohio.”

Participants in the hiring fair must hold current education licensure by August 1, 2023, be eligible to accept new employment at the beginning of the 2023-2024 academic year, have a cover letter, resume, and a list of professional references for employers, and be prepared to accept employment opportunities. Candidates also MUST register at https://forms.gle/jSXzQDzBXoBtsydx7. For more information contact Dr. Mark Burke at burke.mark@moesc.net or 419-774-5520.
