Open Registration for Network Meetings

Mansfield, OH (January 24, 2023) – Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center is dedicated to promoting professional development among area educators, administrators, and other staff. The next round of network meetings will be held in January and February. Registrations are currently open for all interested professionals. Additional information about Ohio's Learning Standards, Extended Standards, and practical challenges can be obtained during the scheduled network meetings. All network meetings will be held on the Mid-Ohio campus, 890 W. Fourth Street in Mansfield. These meetings are designed to provide a combination of professional learning, ODE updates, networking, and collaborative problem-solving. The dates and times for each session are as follows:

School Psychologists: January 25, 2023; 8:30-10:30 AM
Related Service Providers: January 25, 2023; 1:30-3:30 PM
Technology Directors: February 9, 2023; 8:30-11:00 AM
District Test Coordinators: February 10, 2023; 11:30 AM-1:00 PM
School Counselors: February 21, 2023; 9:30-11:00 AM
Special Education Coordinators and Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment: February 10, 2023; 9:00 AM-3:00 PM. The Special Education Coordinators and the Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment networks are hosting a joint network meeting featuring three special presentations: Shawna Benson, OCALI presenting “Standards and Progressions”; Kerry Agins, Agins and Gilman, presenting “Dyslexia Preparation for Districts”; Dr. Mark Burke, MOESC, “Creating Systems of Monitoring and Accountability”.

Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center provides specialized academic and support services, including professional development, to 11 school districts and over 18,000 students in Crawford, Morrow and Richland Counties. Client districts receive services from curriculum, gifted and special education consultants, speech pathologists, psychologists, special education teachers, occupational therapists and physical therapists.
