MOESC’s Fall Administrative Conference Open Registration

Mansfield, OH (March 7, 2023) – Area educators and educational administrators are invited to join Mid-Ohio Education Service Center on Thursday, August 3, 2023, for their Fall Administrative Conference, titled “Fearless Schools.” The conference will take place at the Mid-Ohio Conference Center, 890 W. 4th Street in Mansfield, with registration starting at 7:30 AM and the conference starting at 8 AM.

The featured keynote speaker is Dr. Douglas Reeves. Douglas is eager to discuss how to become a fearless leader. During this fantastic learning experience, district teams will be provided with the focus, strategies, and inspiration to take into the school year. Along with fearless schools, fearless grading, and fearless coaching, districts will receive a legal update from Nicole Donovsky with Bricker and Eckler and a legislative update from the Buckeye Association of School Administrators. 

Dr. Reeves has worked with education, business, nonprofit, and government organizations worldwide. Douglas Reeves has written numerous books and articles on leadership and education. He has been named twice to the Harvard University Distinguished Authors Series and named the Brock International Laureate for his contributions to education, as well. He received both the Distinguished Service Award from the National Association of Secondary School Principals and the Parent’s Choice Award for his writing for children and parents.

The intended audience for the Fall Administrative Conference includes superintendents, directors, central office administration, building administrators, and teacher leaders. Registration includes breakfast, lunch, all learning sessions, and the book Fearless Schools. 

Members of client districts can attend for $50. For those participating from a non-client district, the cost is $100. The registration deadline is July 14, 2023. After that date, no refunds will be given. Register at www.moesc.net/adminconference. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. 

Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center provides specialized academic and support services to 11 school districts and over 18,000 students in Crawford, Morrow and Richland Counties. Client districts receive services from curriculum, gifted and special education consultants, speech pathologists, psychologists, special education teachers, occupational therapists and physical therapists.
