MOESC August 2024 Training

Mansfield, OH (July 23, 2024) – The Department of Student Services at Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center has numerous professional development programs open for registration in August. 

First, MOESC invites teachers and the aides or paraprofessionals who work in their classrooms to a Paraprofessional and Teacher Training on August 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with lunch on your own. The training will be held at Mid-Ohio ESC 890 W. 4th Street, Suite 100, in Mansfield. The client/member cost for the course is $50 while the non-client cost is $75. Register here.

Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center will host Crisis Prevention Institute, or CPI, Training. Registration is open for the Initial CPI Training, which will be held on August 20th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This in-person training session will be held at the Mid-Ohio Conference Center, 890 W. 4th Street in Mansfield. The client/member cost for the course is $60 while the non-client cost is $75.

Mid-Ohio ESC invites Special Education Teachers, Intervention Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Psychologists, other Service Providers and Special Ed Coordinators and Directors to participate in ProgressBook and SameGoal trainings. The training will include entering information for ETRs, IEPs, WEPs, BIPs or 504 Plans in the corresponding software. The ProgressBook training will focus on SpS Refresh and take place on August 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. SameGoal will take place on August 26th from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. These trainings will be at Mid-Ohio ESC 890 W. 4th Street, Suite 100, in Mansfield. Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center provides specialized academic and support services to 13 school districts and over 20,000 students in Crawford, Morrow and Richland Counties.
